BLACKWATER DROWNING ANNOUNCE NEW DRUMMER AND RUN OF LIVE DATES IN SUPPORT OF ‘SONDER//SATORI’

Following the recent release of the bands stunning new album ‘Sonder//Satori’ through Blood Blast

Distribution/Nuclear Blast, North Carolina melodic death metal act BLACKWATER DROWNING would like to introduce and welcome new drummer Aamon Dalton.

Aamon is the brother of the band’s guitarist Ron Dalton Jnr. Having performed with Arborlea, Aamon is a veteran player from the local scene and steps up to join the band as they reach towards bringing the noise far and wide and preparing to write their sophomore album.

Commenting on his new role, Aamon states

” I’m excited to announce that I’m taking a new step forward in my musical career and will be drumming for BLACKWATER DROWNING! Looking forward to touring the world with the band and bringing our very best to you all”

Reflecting on the new line up, founding member and vocalist Morgan Riley offers:

“We are super excited to have Aamon joining us on drums! It was a very easy decision to bring him on, keeping it in the family so to speak. The transition has been totally seamless and we can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together!”

Aamon replaces long time drummer Chris Peavy who performed on ‘Sonder//Satori’. Just before the release of the album Chris and the band decided to amicably part ways with Chris pursuing a new path. The band appreciate his time and commitment with BLACKWATER DROWNING and wish him the very best moving forward.
